  • I believe that meaningful change starts by taking baby steps. I will help you figure out what those steps are.

MY COACHING METHOD

  • CONNECT

It all starts by taking a deep breath and settling into you – who you are and what gives meaning to your life.

  • AIM

Next, we’ll focus on the path you want to create for yourself and create actionable steps to move forwards.

  • GO

Finally, you’ll get your hands dirty and start taking the steps towards your goal. Together we will see what works and refine the direction if needed to make sure you stay on the right path.

What my coaching clients Are Saying

“Aurora’s gentle, attentive, but solution-oriented coaching was exactly what I needed to gain control of my working life. I gained a more structured approach to self-management, I learned to recognize time-wasters, say “no” even more strongly, and to identify my key means of recovery in the rush of everyday life. The lessons I learned from Aurora's coaching are already part of everyday life.”

“I got really good tools to reflect on my career development. Aurora asked well-targeted questions that helped me look at my abilities and potential from a new perspective. She gave space to reflect and give words to things that are rarely thought through so deeply and with time. I highly recommend Aurora’s coaching!”

“Through coaching, I realized that a variety of strategies can be utilized to cope with challenging situations in everyday life. I think coaching is great for people who need help tackling everyday problems.”

WHAT I OFFER

I know how powerful it is to be heard and seen. That is why I’ve made it my business to offer that experience to you. In a world filled with to-dos and chores, it is easy to get tangled up in constant motion without actually realising what you’re moving towards. To me, coaching is a method to help you reset your direction and find your way onto a calm and purposeful path.

I believe that each of us is enough as we are but it might be that we continuously strive for more because we lack direction and self-reflection. Usually, the solution to frustration and overwhelm lies in doing less rather than doing more.

My coaching is centred around the following topics:

  • Finding meaningful work or recognising what direction to take next.

  • Taking on a new role and making it your own.

  • Creating calm and order in a chaotic situation.

  • Learning to draw your boundaries and avoid burnout.

  • Tuning into your creativity and joy.

MY BACKGROUND

My work is focused on three areas: creativity, connection and community. I work as a writer, coach and yoga teacher to match these three areas. As a writer, I’m focused on work-life issues and personal stories. As a coach, I help people connect with who they are and build a career that matches their strengths. As a yoga teacher, I like to bring people together to communicate on a non-verbal level through movement.

My background is in communications consultancy, writing and creative work. I have had job titles such as Creative Director, Head of Strategy, Content Strategist and Journalist. I have also published two non-fiction books related to working life. My first book was about the burnout epidemic and my second book was about why so many people choose to leave their jobs and start their own businesses.

When it comes to my career, I have never chosen to follow the most traditional and easy paths. I strive for work-life integration instead of work-life balance. I want to be a 360 degree human who can have several interests and job titles and a rich and fulfilled life.

I myself have burnt out, overachieved, quit my job and started my own business, failed with many projects and succeeded with projects I wasn’t even striving for. My values are authenticity, freedom, trust and curiosity.
